Physical Therapist Director

Location: Purcellville, VA
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $90,000-$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Patients come to physical therapy because something in their daily life has changed. They may be trying to walk without pain, recover after surgery, rebuild strength, or return to work and normal routines.

As the Physical Therapist Director, you will help lead that process while also supporting the staff who make it happen each day. This role combines patient care, clinical leadership, documentation oversight, and daily clinic coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and identify functional goals
• Create treatment plans based on patient condition, progress, and needs
• Provide direct physical therapy treatment in an outpatient setting
• Lead clinical staff and assist with treatment-related decisions
• Review patient documentation and support compliance standards
• Monitor patient outcomes and help improve care delivery

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
