About the role

D-ploy · Onsite

D-ploy is a dynamic IT and Engineering Solutions company operating across the EMEA region, including Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, the UK, and the USA. We are committed to delivering reliable and efficient services to our clients through strong partnerships and a people-focused culture.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager – Hosting & Cloud Services to join our team in Ghent and support a range of cloud, infrastructure, governance, security, compliance, and operational improvement initiatives for one of our international clients.

This role is ideal for someone who is structured, proactive, and comfortable working in a complex international environment. You will work closely with stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and business functions to provide coordination, visibility, and follow-up across multiple initiatives.

You will help ensure that priorities are clear, actions are tracked, risks and dependencies are visible, and stakeholders have the information they need to make decisions and maintain progress.

This is a hands-on project management role where priorities may evolve based on business needs. The right person will bring ownership, curiosity, practical judgement, and a collaborative mindset.

If you enjoy bringing clarity to complex environments, coordinating across different teams, and supporting delivery in a structured but pragmatic way, this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate project activities across internal stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and third parties.
  • Support initiatives related to hosting, cloud services, infrastructure, governance, security, compliance, remediation, and operational improvement.
  • Maintain visibility of milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and actions.
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, status reports, dashboards, and management updates.
  • Support governance meetings, project forums, workshops, and steering committee preparation.
  • Follow up on agreed actions and help maintain delivery momentum across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate vendor communication, escalation tracking, and stakeholder updates.
  • Identify gaps, unclear ownership, missed dependencies, or delivery risks, and support resolution with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with project managers, technical leads, service owners, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Help improve practical project coordination routines, templates, reporting, and ways of working.
  • Provide cross-project visibility and support stakeholders in understanding priorities, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support documentation related to project execution, decision-making, governance, or operational readiness.
  • Take on additional project management, coordination, reporting, or operational support activities as required.
  • Work in a collaborative, transparent, and outcome-oriented way, with a practical focus on helping the wider team succeed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, project coordination, PMO, or programme support within IT, cloud, infrastructure, security, managed services, or a similar technical environment.
  • Experience supporting multiple parallel initiatives with changing priorities.
  • Good understanding of project governance, planning, RAID management, status reporting, stakeholder communication, and escalation tracking.
  • Experience working with vendors, internal technical teams, business stakeholders, and third parties.
  • Ability to bring structure and clarity in complex or fast-moving environments.
  • Strong follow-up skills and confidence tracking actions, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Comfortable supporting initiatives where ownership is shared across different teams, vendors, or project managers.
  • Practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prepare clear project updates, management summaries, meeting materials, and documentation.
  • Experience with cloud, hosting, infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, remediation, or operational improvement initiatives is an advantage.
  • Experience in a regulated, quality-focused, or life sciences environment is an advantage.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required; Dutch language skills are considered a strong advantage.
  • Readiness to work 100% on-site in Ghent.
  • Valid criminal record extract, not older than three months, required.

Benefits

  • Broad range of tasks and responsibilities
  • Friendly and international working environment
  • Professional development opportunities
