Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Delray Beach, FL
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
Pay: $30–$36 per hour
Office: Assigned to one Delray Beach clinic only

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Delray Beach, FL for an outpatient orthopedic clinic. This role is hands-on and patient-facing, supporting treatment plans for people recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, weakness, stiffness, pain, or mobility limitations.

You will work closely with the supervising PT and help patients complete exercises and movement-based treatment in a way that supports safe, steady progress.

Schedule Choices:

• 4-day schedule with 10-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide PTA treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with strengthening, stretching, balance, mobility, and functional exercises
• Watch patient form, tolerance, and response during treatment
• Share updates or concerns with the supervising PT
• Help patients understand home exercise routines
• Document treatment sessions clearly and on time
• Support patient flow and treatment room readiness

Requirements

• Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Strong communication and treatment follow-through skills
