About the Team
GLG’s Japanese Speaker Intern role is an exciting opportunity for university students and recent graduates looking to pursue a career in research, consulting, or the financial services sector. The internship is structured to develop your communication and teamwork skills, and broaden your industry knowledge while working in a fast-growing global firm.
Job Summary
- The intern will support the expansion of GLG’s Japan expert network by working with third-party vendors who introduce Japanese industry professionals to GLG, and by contacting experts via telephone and email to introduce GLG and guide them through the onboarding process.
- The intern will support communication between Japanese experts and GLG’s Tokyo office while collaborating closely with team leaders and senior stakeholders.
- The intern will manage expert profiles and maintain accurate data in GLG’s internal systems and network management tools.
- The intern will support additional projects related to GLG expert network development and operational tasks as required.
*This position may offer the opportunity for conversion to a full-time role based on performance.
Ideal Candidates Have
- Fluent Korean with good communication skills in both English and Japanese
- Current university student or graduates/post graduates
- Candidates who could commit 5 days a week for at least 3 months
- Be thorough and have good attention to detail
- Enjoy multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to work outside of a traditional office environment
- Experience in relevant research industry, marketing research, recruiting or consulting will be a plus

This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position includes benefits and may include eligibility for incentive compensation.
