About the role
Position: TikTok Shop Operations Manager
Location: South Africa - Remote (Working US Hours - 10am-6pm EST)
Type: Full-Time
Salary: Paid in South African Rands (ZAR)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the TikTok Shop, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
- Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve sales, conversions, and customer experience
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions independently
- Coordinate product listings, inventory updates, and order management processes
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and customer support teams to align on campaigns and promotions
- Stay up to date with TikTok Shop trends, platform updates, and best practices
- Develop and refine operational processes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Take ownership of new initiatives and test innovative ideas to drive growth
Requirements
- Proven experience in eCommerce, marketplace operations, or a similar role
- Strong independent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and implement new ideas
- Experience managing complex workflows with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working specifically with TikTok Shop or similar social commerce platforms
- Familiarity with eCommerce tools, analytics platforms, and order management systems
- Experience in a high-growth startup or rapidly evolving business environment
