Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Compliance Engineer with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience to ensure our optical transceiver products meet all necessary compliance and certification requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing end-to-end certification activities for products, including compliance with EMC, safety, RoHS, WEEE, GR468, and relevant international standards. This is a dynamic role requiring collaboration with both local and international labs, adaptability to work in shifts, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Take ownership for all compliance needs of optical transceiver products, including certification to EMC, safety, RoHS, WEEE, GR468, and other global standards.
Maintain thorough knowledge and application of EMC and safety standards for IT devices and equipment.
Build and manage a comprehensive certification ecosystem, working with local and international labs to ensure end-to-end compliance.
Coordinate lab scheduling and demonstrate flexibility to work in shifts, based on lab availability.
Prepare and manage documentation required to support product certifications, ensuring full compliance with product release milestones.
Work independently on assigned compliance projects while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and external labs.
Track regulatory changes and proactively update compliance processes and product certifications as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8 to 10 years of experience in handling product compliance for optical transceivers or related electronic hardware, including EMC, safety, RoHS, WEEE, and GR468 standards.
Strong knowledge of EMC and safety standards for IT devices/equipment.
Proven ability to create and manage relationships with both local and global test labs to support certification efforts.
Comfortable with working shifts, as required by lab scheduling.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
