Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

As a Sales/Product Specialist, you will be the direct link between our client’s premium food portfolio and the country's top chefs and restaurateurs. Your goal is to drive growth through technical product knowledge and aggressive business development.

  • Products: Raw materials including flour from Italy, wines, coffee beans, concentrated juices from Singapore, gelato bases
  • Focus: Wholesale distribution of ingredients and raw materials to HORECA clients
  • Interaction: Primarily with chefs who need these ingredients for their operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development: Execute individual sales strategies to grow revenue within the Food Service and HORECA sectors.

·      Promote and sell premium raw materials including flour from Italy, wines, coffee beans, concentrated juices from Singapore, gelato bases.

·      Strengthen partnerships with hotels, restaurants, and cafés to drive long-term business growth.

·      Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue growth.

Lead Generation: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities with high-end restaurants, luxury hotels, and commercial kitchens.

·      Actively identify and acquire new wholesale clients within the HORECA sector.

Relationship Management: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs and procurement managers to support their raw material requirements.

Negotiation: Handle pricing and contract terms with clients to ensure a win-win scenario that maximizes company profitability. 

Product Expertise: Act as a specialist for our F&B lines, effectively communicating the quality, origin, and application of our imported and locally produced items.

·      Conduct product education sessions to demonstrate application, usage, and quality advantages.

Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify potential opportunities for product placement.

Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and inventory teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and product availability.

·      Oversee order processing and coordinate closely with the dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Performance Tracking: Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to management, ensuring targets are met consistently

Must-have Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of sales experience in HORECA industry
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably high-value equipment
  • Strong network within hotel and restaurant industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building and account management skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive results
  • Results-oriented mindset with ability to work independently

Highly Preferred:

  • Understanding of food service operations and ingredient sourcing
  • Existing relationships with hotel chains and restaurant groups
  • Previous experience selling to chefs and kitchen managers
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations

Requirements

Working hours / Job Type:

Monday to Friday; 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexible for client meetings)

Field-based role with frequent client visits.

Occasional evening meetings due to Italy's time zone coordination

Travel within Metro Manila and the surrounding areas
