Role Purpose
This role centers on shaping clear, engaging, and accessible communication that connects people to our brand and offerings. As a Senior Associate Copywriter, you will translate complex financial concepts into meaningful, audience-focused messaging—helping ensure our products and services are understandable, consistent, and relevant across all touchpoints.
Working collaboratively with creative and marketing partners, you will balance strategic thinking with strong execution—producing content that not only reflects the brand’s voice, but also supports business objectives and customer understanding.
Key Responsibilities
Create purposeful, audience-centered content that aligns with brand voice, product positioning, and marketing priorities
Adapt messaging for different channels and audiences, ensuring consistency while optimizing for format and engagement
Translate complex ideas into clear, accessible language, particularly in financial and insurance contexts
Contribute to campaign development, including creating message variations that support audience segmentation and performance goals
Develop a wide range of content, such as product materials, sales enablement tools, digital and social content, presentations, and marketing communications
Partner closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., creative, content strategy, marketing) to deliver cohesive and aligned messaging
Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy, ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines and established processes
Manage multiple projects and timelines effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Continuously build knowledge of the organization’s brand, products, and services
Support an inclusive, collaborative, and creative team environment
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team and organizational goals
Qualifications & Experience
Professional experience: 7+ years of copywriting across multiple formats and channels, with a portfolio demonstrating range and impact
Clarity and communication: Ability to simplify complex or technical information for diverse audiences
Analytical thinking: Skilled at synthesizing input from multiple sources into cohesive, effective messaging
Adaptability: Comfortable adjusting tone, style, and approach based on audience and channel
Collaborative mindset: Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement through iteration
Organization & accountability: Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Technical proficiency: Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Workfront, Mural, Figma, or similar)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field preferred
Industry knowledge (helpful, not required): Familiarity with financial services, insurance, or investment products, and understanding of marketing and sales processes
