Role Overview:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Event Operations Manager based in the Casablanca Metropolitan Area. The Event Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all operational aspects of events from logistics and on-site setup to vendor management and customer experience. The role requires working closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, and support) as well as external stakeholders (venues, suppliers, and organizers) to ensure flawless execution. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute events from concept to completion, ensuring all operational aspects are delivered flawlessly.
  • Oversee logistics planning, venue setup, supplier coordination, and on-site operations to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and on time.
  • Coordinate with internal departments — including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Support — to align on event objectives and deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and venue partners, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with event standards.
  • Supervise event staff and third-party crews during setup, execution, and teardown, maintaining operational excellence throughout.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and risk management measures are in place for every event.
  • Oversee ticketing operations, crowd management plans, and on-site customer experience in coordination with the Hala Yalla platform.
  • Monitor event performance, collect feedback, and provide detailed post-event reports to identify areas of improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and operational best practices to enhance efficiency and event quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field
  • Certification in Event Operations or Project Management is a plus. 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in event operations management, preferably in the entertainment, ticketing, or tourism sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale events, festivals, or sports tournaments.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure smooth day-of-event execution.
  • Experience with logistics planning, crowd management, and supplier coordination.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk management and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with digital ticketing systems or event tech platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English and French (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Ability to travel regionally for event supervision and partner coordination.
  • High energy, attention to detail, and a passion for creating seamless event experiences.
