 Job Summary:

Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Engineering Project Coordinator. The Engineering Project Coordinator plays a key role in facilitating the successful execution of engineering projects within the organization. Their responsibilities involve coordinating various aspects of projects, ensuring effective communication among engineering team members, managing, and overseeing the documentation process, document revision, and the Engineering schedule. 

The key operation of this role requires cross-functional collaboration with engineers, designers, project managers, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of the engineered designs which meet project specifications and industrial requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and engineering milestones.
  • Evaluate project schedule and confirm engineering deliverables!
  • Assist Engineers in drafting project BOM.
  • Facilitate communication among engineering team members, project managers, and other external stakeholders.
  • Manage the Engineering Schedule for Power Distribution and Panel Products.
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams and departments.
  • Establish and maintain a document control system to manage all project-related documents.
  • Ensure the proper naming, numbering, and version control of documents.
  • Ensure documents are consistent with engineering standards.
  • Organize and categorize documents for easy retrieval.
  • Distribute documents to relevant parties as per the established distribution matrix.
  • Monitor and track the distribution of documents to ensure timely receipt by stakeholders.
  • Manage documentation revisions and updates, ensuring that the latest versions are available and obsolete versions are archived or removed.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal and external clients to implement changes and updates to documents.
  • Ensure that all documents comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.
  • Audit Engineering Project folders to ensure checklist completion.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify document accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IECC, IBC, NEC, UL, IEC, and IEEE required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe required.
  • Experience with a Visual-ERP system is a plus required.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required.

  

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience with a Visual-ERP system preferred.
