About the role
Optimiza is seeking a dedicated Joiner Oracle DB Administrator to assist with the effective management and administration of our Oracle database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance.
- Support database monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Help in performing backup and recovery operations to maintain data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with senior DBAs and other IT teams to implement database solutions and upgrades.
- Document procedures and maintain records of database activities.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to database incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-2 years of Oracle database concepts and architecture.
- Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certifications in Oracle Database Administration are a plus but not mandatory.
