We are currently looking for a Accountant to join our Accounting Team based in Athens.

As an Accountant you will be responsible for overseeing the general accounting operations by controlling & verifying our financial transactions.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Post invoices, payments and other Journal Entries
• Support the preparation of financial analysis and reports
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Support the preparation of budget forecasts
• Reconciliation of Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Process payments and support day to day operations
• Assist with annual audit preparations

Requirements

• BSc degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of proven experience as an Accountant
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent command of the English language both written and oral
• Good knowledge of Accounting principles
• Accuracy and attention to detail
