What You’ll Be Doing

Manage end-to-end payroll processing accurately and compliantly in coordination with external providers

Coordinate work permit applications, visa renewals, and right-to-work documentation
-
Conduct new hire onboarding and induction programs, ensuring smooth cultural and systems integration
-
Draft, maintain, and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and operational clarity
-
Provide first-line support on employee relations matters including grievances and performance concerns
-
Assist with pay transparency reporting, internal audits, and equitable compensation practices
-
Lead the implementation and testing of new systems, including AI tools, while maintaining employee data platforms and staying current with emerging technology.
What We Look For In You

Minimum 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist or operations-focused role

Proven track record of payroll management, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Working knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR compliance
-
Excellent communication and discretion , you handle sensitive matters with maturity and professionalism

Organized, process-driven, and able to operate autonomously
-
Fluent in English (spoken and written); Maltese is a plus
-
Experience with HRIS tools (e.g., BambooHR) and payroll platforms (e.g., Shireburn, ADP) and ability to learn new systems
Nice to Haves

Exposure to employee relations casework or partnering with HRBPs
-
Experience in high-growth, regulated environments (e.g., fintech, crypto, or financial services)

Familiarity with pay transparency legislation and compensation frameworks
