Our team built AI Actions for OpenAI, shipped Zapier Agents to millions of users, and launched the first remote MCP server with Anthropic. We helped establish the protocol, and now we're building the platform enterprises need to actually put MCP to work.
Runlayer is one platform for MCPs, Skills, and Agents: purpose-built security, fine-grained governance, and complete observability so organizations can go all-in on AI across the entire company without the risk. We just raised a $30M Series A led by Felicis, with participation from Khosla Ventures, bringing our total raised to $42M. Already trusted by Gusto, Instacart, Opendoor, dbt Labs, Cursor, and Decagon.
We're a team of 35, mostly engineers, shipping fast. Agent operators on Runlayer grew 5x in four weeks while human operators stayed flat. The shift to agentic work is already showing up in our own usage.
As our Demand Gen Lead, you'll build Runlayer's paid acquisition engine from zero. We run no paid today (all inbound is organic), but we have the budget, the deal sizes, and the pipeline pressure to make paid a real channel. You'll own paid ads, landing pages, SEO/AEO, and growth experimentation.

What You'll Do
Build and run paid acquisition across Google, LinkedIn, and other B2B channels
Own landing page strategy and production for campaigns and paid traffic, including ABM
Drive SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) as AI search becomes a core lead source
Run growth experiments across channels to find what scales
Own attribution, analytics, and pipeline reporting for marketing-sourced leads
Partner with PMM on campaign messaging and with sales on lead quality and handoff
Support field marketing with digital amplification (conferences, partner campaigns, events)
What We're Looking For
5+ years in demand gen or growth marketing at B2B SaaS, infra, or developer tools companies
Proven track record building paid acquisition programs from scratch, ideally for high-ACV enterprise sales
Strong paid ads chops across Google, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
Data-driven. Comfortable with attribution models, funnel analysis, and pipeline reporting.
Landing page and conversion optimization experience
Understanding of SEO and AEO; experience with tools like Profound is a plus
Comfortable running experiments fast and killing what doesn't work
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with high-ACV, technical enterprise sales motions (six figure deals, long sales cycles)
AI-native, uses Claude
