Pay Range: $90,000-$120,000 per year
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

About the Position

The Director of Physical Therapy will oversee an outpatient clinic and help manage both patient care and clinical operations. This role requires a licensed Physical Therapist who can evaluate patients, provide treatment, guide staff, and support the clinic’s daily structure.

Patients come to physical therapy looking for practical improvement: less pain, better movement, stronger function, and a clearer path back to daily activities. This role helps make that process consistent from the first visit through discharge.

Daily Responsibilities

• Lead outpatient therapy care and clinical service delivery
• Complete patient evaluations and progress assessments
• Create treatment plans based on functional needs and recovery goals
• Provide direct patient care within the clinic
• Supervise staff and help resolve clinical workflow questions
• Review documentation for quality, accuracy, and timeliness
• Support patient scheduling, clinic communication, and care coordination

Requirements

• Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous director, manager, or lead clinician experience preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient rehab standards
• Ability to lead people, manage priorities, and maintain care quality
