About The Role
This role analyzes operational and financial performance, manages Cargo P&L, and explains forecast vs. actual variances. It drives cost optimization through data insights and continuous improvement projects. It also ensures accurate, automated invoicing and alignment with Finance and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and analyzing operational & financial reports. Preparing & presenting Cargo P&L, taking actions to optimize it
Leading and executing projects for continious improvement in cost & charge. Providing analyzes and suggestions for new projects for cargo operation & cost optimization
Identifying, analyzing trends or patterns within complex data sets to drive cost & charge improvement actions
Ensuring the automation of cargo invoicing processes and continuously monitoring them to guarantee healthy and accurate progression
Presenting forecast vs. actual performance alignment during monthly P&L meetings, and clearly explaining and rationalizing any variances (deviations)
Monthly tracking and reporting of invoices issued by cargo carriers, and ensuring reconciliation with the Finance team at month-end
Maintaining alignment with cross-functional teams (e.g.,Category, Operations, Pricing, Central Planning) to ensure accurate cost & charge projections are made based on the required input
Expected Qualifications
Min 2 years of experience in related position (Operations Planning, Financial Planning&Reporting etc.). Preferably with experience in e-commerce industry
Bachelor’s degree from reputable universities (preferably engineering, business administration and economy faculties)
Proficient in Excel and preferably SQL
Eager to learn, result-oriented, having analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Advanced reporting and numerical analysis skills
Good team player with strong communication skills
Able to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Passion for Operations and Supply Chain
Fluent in English ( both written & verbal)
