Optimal, on behalf of a newly established premium boutique hotel in Amorgos, is seeking a Hotel Operations Manager for year-round employment.

Scope of Role

The Hotel Operations Manager will oversee the property's day-to-day operations, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, and the smooth coordination of all hotel departments. This is a highly hands-on role, ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a boutique environment and enjoys being actively involved in the daily operation of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day hotel operations across Front Office, F&B, and Housekeeping.
  • Ensure a consistently high level of guest experience and service delivery.
  • Support and guide operational teams in a hands-on, practical manner.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain smooth communication and collaboration across all departments.
  • Ensure the consistent implementation of operational procedures and service standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the overall guest experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Hotel Operations or in a Front Office leadership role.
  • Good knowledge of Property Management Systems, preferably Hotelizer.
  • Strong operational mindset with a hands-on approach.
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of the English language; additional languages will be considered an asset.
