About the role
Optimal, on behalf of a newly established premium boutique hotel in Amorgos, is seeking a Hotel Operations Manager for year-round employment.
Scope of Role
The Hotel Operations Manager will oversee the property's day-to-day operations, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, and the smooth coordination of all hotel departments. This is a highly hands-on role, ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a boutique environment and enjoys being actively involved in the daily operation of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day hotel operations across Front Office, F&B, and Housekeeping.
- Ensure a consistently high level of guest experience and service delivery.
- Support and guide operational teams in a hands-on, practical manner.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain smooth communication and collaboration across all departments.
- Ensure the consistent implementation of operational procedures and service standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the overall guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Hotel Operations or in a Front Office leadership role.
- Good knowledge of Property Management Systems, preferably Hotelizer.
- Strong operational mindset with a hands-on approach.
- Solid understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of the English language; additional languages will be considered an asset.
