Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager - Commercial for a Major Transport Package. This role will be pivotal in overseeing commercial activities related to large-scale transport infrastructure projects within the Qiddiya development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial strategies, cost control, contract negotiations, and ensuring effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial management of a Major Transport Package, including cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with project objectives and company goals.
  • Manage contract preparation, negotiation, and administration ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor project expenditures and coordinate with project managers to optimize cost-efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, engineering, and finance departments to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor commercial team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Prepare detailed commercial reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in commercial management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance commercial operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of commercial management experience in large-scale transport or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation, cost control, and commercial risk management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary commercial teams.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in commercial management software and tools.
  • Thorough understanding of industry standards, legal frameworks, and best practices.
