About the role:

As the business continues to evolve, we are now looking for a business analyst to help drive and develop the performance and strategy of Lalamove in Mexico. 

The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather, analyze, and interpret data to improve business performance and support strategic projects. A dynamic role that combines problem-solving skills, data-driven thinking and business sense to ensure rapid and sustainable growth of the business.

What you will do:

  • Help define and run key projects among different stakeholders.

  • Perform data analysis and modeling to identify trends and efficiency opportunities. Build analytical insights/tools to help set and monitor performance goals in the business.

  • Work closely with our Managing Director  in building the long-term strategy for Mexico.

  • Collect and analyze performance data from different areas (sales, marketing, operations, etc.) to drive alignment and collaboration on the execution and achievement of business goals.

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve processes and increase efficiency.

  • Collaborate with teams from different departments to  ensure all corporate strategies and initiatives are effectively managed.

  • Conduct market research, analyze business data, and drive knowledge sharing on market & technology trends; drive business efficiency improvement, best practices as well as challenges among business units.

  • Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives to MD Lalamove, making adjustments as necessary based on changing conditions.

  • To be part of our team, you’ll need:

  • Degree in statistics, data analysis, business administration or related field.

  • At least 3-4 years of previous experience in data analysis and business strategy development, management consulting, strategy, financial background or project management experience.

  • Knowledge in data analysis tools (such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, BI tools).

  • Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.

  • Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences.

  • Able to prioritize, work autonomously and manage time effectively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
