Job Summary
We are hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Kansas City, Missouri. This role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and daily function through individualized physical therapy care.
You will work with patients ranging from 11 to 90 years old, with a primary caseload of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The position offers schedule flexibility, a steady patient volume, and the chance to grow within a team-based clinical setting.

Preferred Work Schedule Options
Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Clinic Information
- Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
- Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
- Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- EMR System: WebPT
- Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
- Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and identify physical therapy needs
- Create treatment plans based on patient goals, diagnosis, and functional limitations
- Provide care for orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical recovery, weakness, and mobility concerns
- Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance work, strengthening, and functional movement training
- Educate patients on home exercises, body mechanics, and safe activity progression
- Monitor progress and update treatment plans when needed
- Complete accurate documentation in WebPT
- Work with PTAs and clinic team members to support consistent patient care
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills
- Ability to work with patients across different ages and physical needs
