About the role

Level Group ANZ

Level Electrical Newcastle Central are hiring. Are you a licensed Sparky who prefers the grit and satisfaction of a major project over fixing light switches in someone’s kitchen?

We are a growing, tight-knit electrical contracting firm looking for a reliable and skilled Electrical Tradesperson to join our team. If you’re looking for a role where you aren’t just a number, and where your expertise on-site is actually valued, we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time position primarily focused on medium to large-scale projects. You won’t be doing the "standard" domestic run-around; instead, you’ll be integral to high-impact installations and long-term site builds.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Execution of electrical installations and fit-outs for commercial and industrial projects.
  • Reading and interpreting complex electrical plans and technical diagrams.
  • Routine maintenance, fault finding, and testing on large-scale systems.
  • Leading small teams or supervising apprentices on-site when required.
  • Ensuring all work strictly adheres to safety standards and local regulations.

We’re a small team, so we need someone who hits the ground running and takes pride in their workmanship.

  • Licensing: Current and valid Electrical License.
  • Experience: Proven track record working on commercial or large-scale construction projects.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical rules and regulations.
  • Safety: Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Driver’s License: Valid manual driver’s license is essential.
  • Attitude: Punctual, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a crew.

Benefits

Working for a smaller business means you get variety, recognition, and a boss who actually knows your name.

  • Competitive Pay: Attractive hourly rate based on experience plus superannuation.
  • Great Work Conditions: Standard working hours with a nine-day fortnight option offering excellent work - life balance.
  • Stability: Full-time hours with consistent work on long-term project pipelines.
  • Career Growth: Opportunities to step into leading hand or site management roles as the business expands.
  • Team Culture: A relaxed but professional environment with regular team catch-ups and a focus on work-life balance.

Join our team and be part of a company that values your expertise and is dedication to quality electrical work. Apply today!
