About the role
Role Responsibilities
- Set up machines (extruders, vacuum tanks, haul-off, cutters, and printing) to start a production
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed, temperatures, pressures)
- Feed dryblend materials to the extruder machines
- Online inspection on the finished products to ensure compliance to product specifications (OD, thickness, markings, length, colour)
- Packing finished products (counting, packing)
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output and records hourly checklist
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain safety & housekeeping of production works station
- Perform any other tasks that assign by production leaders / technical manager
Role Requirement
- Experience as a machine operator in extrusion process is an added advantage
- Preferably with working knowledge in manufacturing environment
- Capable to use measuring jigs, calipers, and micrometer is a plus point
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective equipment)
- Ability to read, and count
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Preferably to work in shift (morning & night shifts)
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
