Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist for its client based in Nottingham. Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team in a senior capacity. This is a high-impact role focused on supporting disabled individuals and their families/carers through expert assessments, equipment provision, and major adaptations.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Deliver Occupational Therapy services to disabled citizens, including complex assessments, equipment recommendations, and housing adaptations.
• Apply strong knowledge of the Care Act and related legislation across health and social care, safeguarding, and housing.
• Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of up to 8 staff (OTs, Social Workers, Community Care Officers), ensuring professional governance and high service performance.
• Mentor and support colleagues through quality assurance, guidance, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Provide expert input on cases where safety is impacted by equipment or adaptation needs, supporting less experienced practitioners.
• Actively contribute to service development and innovation, driving best practice in social care.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
• Extensive post-qualifying experience in adult social care
• Proven leadership and supervision experience
• Strong understanding of legislation and best practice in OT
• Relevant Occupational Therapy and associated certificates
