Company Overview

WFP Design, Inc. is a Hudson Valley-based MEP BIM Modeling company specializing in fire sprinkler, plumbing, and mechanical system design. We are currently seeking to fill an immediate position for an MEP BIM Modeler to support our growing project portfolio.

Position Summary

The MEP BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed Revit models and AutoCAD drawings for mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. This role requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Model fire sprinkler, plumbing, and mechanical systems in Revit with precision and accuracy.
• Develop construction documentation, layouts, and detailed drawings for MEP projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure design intent is met.
• Maintain and manage drawing sets, details, and BIM standards.
• Assist in design revisions and updates throughout project phases.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

🎓 Qualifications

Required

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for MEP drafting and modeling.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (fire protection, plumbing, mechanical).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred (not required)

• Prior experience in MEP BIM modeling or related drafting roles.
• Familiarity with industry standards and construction documentation practices.
• Experience collaborating on multidisciplinary projects.
