Who we are
Rangeview is on a mission to build the foundry system that reindustrializes America. We exist to break the legacy manufacturing trap by reinventing critical production for the twenty-first century. Through advanced software, deep automation, breakthroughs in materials science, and modern financing strategies, Rangeview rewrites both the cost curve and the power structure of making metal parts.
What’s in it for you
This is a hands-on opportunity to support the buildout and operation of a modern aerospace manufacturing factory. You will work across facility systems, industrial equipment, utilities, production infrastructure, and factory support needs that directly impact uptime and daily execution.
This role is a strong fit for someone who likes practical troubleshooting, fast issue resolution, and owning real infrastructure and equipment problems rather than simply processing work orders. As new equipment, systems, and production capacity come online, you will have the opportunity to grow with the factory and help shape how maintenance is executed in a lean, high-ownership environment.
What you’ll do
- Execute routine inspections and maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, electrical distribution, utilities, and general facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment, automated machinery, and facility infrastructure to minimize operational downtime.
- Assist with installation of new production equipment, workstations, utility connections, and factory infrastructure as Rangeview scales.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment issues to support accurate recordkeeping.
- Maintain facility-wide safety standards, including emergency lighting, eyewash stations, first aid kits, and similar safety-related systems.
- Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend practical improvements.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, leadership, vendors, and contractors to support equipment uptime and facility readiness.
- Support preventive maintenance execution and help improve maintenance processes as the factory grows.
What you’ll need
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience supporting facility systems such as HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, utilities, or electrical distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, floor plans, mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to communicate technical facility or equipment issues clearly with engineering, production, leadership, and outside vendors.
- Experience with Lockout/Tagout and general industrial safety protocols.
- Must be able to work full-time, W2, onsite in El Segundo, CA.
Preferred qualifications
- Basic understanding of PLCs, industrial controllers, sensors, motors, pumps, conveyors, compressed air systems, or automated equipment.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, CMMS platforms, or mobile maintenance/task-tracking tools.
- Experience supporting new equipment installations and factory buildouts.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, aerial man-lifts, or similar industrial equipment.
Additional requirements
- Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support urgent repairs, facility projects, equipment installs, or production needs.
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods, climbing ladders, crawling in confined spaces, bending, stretching, and working around industrial equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Must follow all safety protocols and maintain awareness when working around active production environments.
- This role may require access to ITAR-controlled technical data. Candidates must be currently authorized to access ITAR-controlled information as a U.S. person, including as a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
