Hourly Rate: £35-38
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30 (7.5 hours per day)
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 8a Pharmacist to work at a private hospital in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading private healthcare setting, delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services across a range of specialist areas. The successful candidate will support multidisciplinary teams and play a key role in optimising patient care and medicines management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy support across surgical, rehabilitation, cardiology, and general medical services
- Ensure the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medicines
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
- Support medicines optimisation initiatives and clinical governance processes
- Contribute to service delivery and continuous improvement within the pharmacy department
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Proven experience working at Band 8 level (or equivalent)
- Strong clinical background in one or more of the following areas:
- Surgical
- Rehabilitation
- Cardiology
- General medicine
- Excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and teamworking abilities
