*This role is an 80% FTE (32 hours per week), for a period of 6 months with the possibility to extend*

What you will do:
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our Legal department at Sensorfact (part of ABB Group). Working directly with the legal team, you will assist in a variety of commercial, administrative, and compliance-related tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to B2B contract negotiation, compliance operations, and in-house legal practice in a fast-paced SaaS scale-up environment. At the same time, you will have the chance to gain behind-the-scenes experience of how a major global corporation operates.

The role is ideal for a current law student or a master’s student with up to 2 years of legal experience, who is eager to develop strong foundations in commercial legal work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Legal Operations and Document Management: Support the Legal Department with the day-to-day tasks by managing signing processes, updating the legal archives and database maintenance.

  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research on different jurisdictions, EU Regulations and other regulatory developments.

  • Legal Support: Prepare legal input, memos and written analyses to support the legal team and advise the business and commercial teams.

  • Legal Document/Agreement Review: Assist in first-pass reviews and analysis of legal agreements and documents (including but not limited to NDAs, supplier documents, such as Codes of Conduct and other onboarding documents) ensuring alignment with company policies.

What you bring:

  • You have up to three years of work experience in a corporate legal department and/or law firm environment.

  • You are self-motivated and able to progressively work with autonomy.

  • You have a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset and enjoy working collaboratively.

  • You demonstrate strong communication skills and can work effectively with cross-functional business stakeholders.

  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office.

  • You are fluent in English.
