Your Mission
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will apply software engineering principles to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. You will deliver high-quality software solutions in a dynamic environment, leveraging agile methodologies to meet evolving user demands. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and contribute as a subject matter expert in software engineering.

Engaging in all phases of the software development lifecycle, tailoring processes to meet customer needsLeading technical efforts, making architectural decisions, and mentoring team membersDeveloping modular components, ensuring scalability and maintainabilityLeveraging multiple programming languages, frameworks, and operating systems to solve technical challengesUtilizing CI/CD pipelines for deployment and optimizing performance across software systemsCreating and maintaining system documentation, providing clear technical guidance and briefingsMust Have:
TS/SCI with polygraph clearance20+ years of experience in software engineering within the Intelligence CommunityBachelor’s degree in a related field (or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree)Experience in full-stack development, including web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScriptProficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or AngularStrong background in object-oriented programming using Java or JavaScriptHands-on experience designing and developing modular components for scalable applicationsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines for software deploymentProven Linux background and ability to work in complex heterogeneous environmentsAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and SCI AccessNice to Have:
AWS certificationSecurity+ certificationCertifications in Java, .NET, cloud technologies (Hadoop, HBase, MongoDB), or frameworks (Java EE, Spring, etc.)Experience with monitoring and metrics tracking for system performance
