About the Job

We’re looking for a highly skilled and all-rounded Post Production to join our growing Marketing team. This role goes beyond execution — you will take ownership of post-production quality, workflows, and creative standards, while delivering high-impact video content across digital platforms.

You will be hands-on with editing while also guiding post-production direction to ensure speed, consistency, and top-tier output quality, especially for social-first vertical content.

Key Responsibilities

Post-Production & Editing (Hands-on)

  • Own end-to-end post-production processes for both short-form and long-form video content.

  • Perform offline & online editing, visual effects (VFX), motion graphics / 2D animation, compositing (green screen & clean-up), and colour grading.

  • Deliver content primarily optimized for vertical social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, XHS).

  • Ensure all outputs meet platform specifications and maintain strong visual impact and engagement.

Creative & Technical Leadership

  • Act as the quality gatekeeper for all post-production outputs.

  • Provide creative input on storytelling, pacing, visual direction, and animation techniques.

  • Support and align with Videographers, Creative, and Social Media teams to translate concepts and storyboards into compelling final videos.

  • Able to work fast under pressure while maintaining high production standards.

Workflow, Tools & Asset Management

  • Establish and maintain efficient post-production workflows, file structures, and version control.

  • Manage project archives, backups, and collaboration tools (e.g. Frame.io).

  • Continuously improve post-production efficiency and quality through tools, templates, and best practices.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with social media trends, editing styles, VFX techniques, and post-production tools.

  • Experiment with new formats, transitions, animations, and visual storytelling approaches to improve content performance.

  • Introduce new post-production techniques that elevate BJAK’s brand presence.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a post-production house, studio, or in-house creative team.

  • Strong experience handling both short-form and long-form video content.

  • Proficient in:

    • Adobe Premiere Pro

    • Adobe After Effects

    • DaVinci Resolve

    • Frame.io

  • Bonus skills (nice to have):

    • 3D tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or 3ds Max

    • Any other relevant post-production software

  • Strong understanding of visual effects, motion graphics, animation, compositing, and colour grading.

  • Excellent sense of storytelling, visual pacing, and aesthetics.

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong video editing showreel/portfolio showcasing outstanding editing, VFX, or animation work is required.
