About the role
Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort and The Syntopia Hotel, two distinguished hospitality destinations in Crete, are seeking to recruit a Sales & Reservations Specialist for permanent employment.
The successful candidate will be based at the Reservations & Sales Offices of Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort and will support reservations, sales activities, and business development initiatives for both properties.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate reservations for both Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort and The Syntopia Hotel, ensuring accuracy and exceptional service standards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to reservation requests, inquiries, and sales opportunities received via phone, email, and online channels.
- Maximize revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting room upgrades, special offers, and hotel services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and other B2B partners.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Revenue Management, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Process reservation amendments, cancellations, and special requests in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate guest, client, and partner records within reservation and CRM systems.
- Assist in developing and implementing promotional campaigns.
- Participate in sales calls, networking opportunities, and business development activities as required.
- Generate periodic reports related to reservations, sales performance, and market activity.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Reservations, Sales, Front Office, or a related hospitality position, preferably within a 4* or 5* hotel environment.
- Previous experience in hotel sales, reservations, account management, or business development will be considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken. Additional languages will be considered an asset.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive sales-oriented mindset.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hotel reservation systems, PMS platforms, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Resident of Heraklion or Rethymno.
