Your mission

• Bridge Tech & Business: Connect deep technical decisions directly to strategic business outcomes, ensuring our platform scales efficiently alongside our commercial growth.

• Anchor our iOS Platform: Own and evolve the technical foundation of our iOS app to support our next millions of users.

• Raise the Bar & Level Up the Team: Foster a culture of excellence within the Mobile Chapter by introducing technical best practices, driving architectural consistency, and working alongside current team members.

• Collaborate & Discover: Partner closely with our Product and Design team to discover, define, and ship top-notch user experiences and experiments that move our core metrics.

• Implement High-Quality Code: Write clean, efficient, and scalable Swift code following native best practices and utilizing the latest iOS platform capabilities.

Your profile

• Platform Anchor: You are ready to act as the primary senior reference point and engineering anchor for the NeoTaste iOS codebase.

• Senior Expertise: You have a proven track record of developing and scaling high-quality native iOS apps, with at least 5 years of professional, commercial working experience.

• Native Mastery: You are strongly proficient in Swift UIKit, and SwiftUI, with a deep understanding of the MVVM design pattern and the full mobile development lifecycle.

• AI-Augmented Workflow: You are highly comfortable integrating AI into your daily development practices, with practical experience using tools like Claude Code and implementing automated, AI-driven workflows to boost efficiency.

• Startup Growth Navigation: You thrive in small engineering or cross-functional teams, navigate ambiguity with ease, and have ideally seen the early growth stages of a product or scale-up.

• Ownership & UX Care: You show a high level of autonomous ownership, can work flexibly, have an eye for detail, and genuinely care about delivering a top-notch user experience.

• Passion: You are excited about food-tech and changing the way millions of people explore new culinary destinations.

Salary note (German Pay Transparency Act): Our salary range for this job is between 60.000,00€-78.000,00€ per year depending on your individual skills, experience level, and how you map against our internal leveling framework.
