About the role
Here's what it'll be like to work in this role:
We are scaling a new motion: website redesign and delivery for existing Gushwork clients. The Associate Program Manager owns the journey from onboarding to go-live, working alongside CSMs, web engineers, and the founder.
This is a chaotic-to-clarity role. You will be on US-hours calls with customers, then immediately turning fuzzy feedback into concrete, prioritized asks for engineering. The pace is high. You should want that, not tolerate it.
What you will do:
Co-run client onboarding calls with CSMs. 3 to 5 a week. Push past the surface-ask to find the real need.
Drive feedback implementation from teaser to mockup to live website, without dropping threads.
Coordinate development phases. Decide what is needed from the customer and when, and make sure CSMs collect it on time.
Own go-live and the post-live request queue.
Translate unstructured customer feedback into clear specs for web developers.
Spot patterns across niches and feed them back into the Onboarding Studio so the AI pipeline keeps getting sharper.
What we are looking for:
1 to 2 years at an early-stage startup. You have operated inside chaos and brought structure to it.
Web development familiarity. You can read a Figma file, follow a frontend developer’s debugging, and hold your own in a technical thread without bluffing.
Available for customer calls in US hours. This is a hard constraint of the role.
Bias to follow-through. You finish what you start and you remember what others forget.
Sharp written communication. You can compress a 30-minute messy call into 5 lines a developer can act on.
Comfortable owning outcomes, not just tasks.
Bonus:
Experience at a niche, fast-moving startup in product, delivery, or operations.
Worked directly with founders and solo CEOs as customers.
Familiarity with CRMs, chatbots, hosting, or DNS.
