About the role
The Opportunity
As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how some of the world's most critical infrastructure companies operate. The products you design will directly influence how complex projects are planned, deployed, and managed at scale.
We are investing heavily in our product design organisation and are looking for a senior individual contributor who thrives in high-growth, fast-moving environments. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with a strong builder mentality — someone who is energised by ambiguity, stays close to the craft, and knows how to deliver high-impact outcomes. You will set the standard for modern product design at Sitetracker — hands-on, technically fluent, and deeply connected to customer outcomes.
You will be embedded in a scrum team — designing and delivering alongside Engineering on a day-to-day basis. You will own day-to-day product decisions for your feature area, mentor less experienced designers, and ship code to production. For someone who wants to build, ship, and elevate the craft around them, this is the role.
What You’ll Do
-
Own Product Outcomes:
Lead product decisions for your domain, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals. Define priorities, measure success, and deliver high-quality solutions quickly. -
Understand Customers & the Market:
Develop deep knowledge of customer workflows, industry trends, AI capabilities, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform product decisions. -
Solve Complex Problems:
Investigate cross-functional challenges, identify root causes, collaborate with customers, and translate insights into impactful product improvements. -
Design End-to-End Experiences:
Create intuitive, scalable experiences across web and mobile by designing user flows, interaction patterns, and system-level solutions. -
Build & Ship:
Move beyond design mockups by leveraging AI-assisted development tools to prototype, build, validate, and ship production-ready experiences in close partnership with engineering. -
Design AI Experiences:
Shape intelligent workflows within Scout by designing AI interactions, decision logic, evaluation frameworks, and quality metrics that deliver measurable customer value. -
Validate & Measure:
Test solutions through prototypes, usability studies, customer pilots, and analytics to ensure successful adoption and continuous improvement. -
Drive Adoption:
Measure feature usage, customer impact, and business outcomes, iterating based on data and feedback to maximise product success. -
Mentor & Elevate:
Coach designers, provide constructive feedback, improve team practices, and foster a collaborative, "build in public" culture.

Thrive in fast-moving environments and deliver high-impact outcomes at pace
-
Independently identify ambiguous challenges and take ownership of driving them to resolution
-
Champion new ideas, influence stakeholders, and rally support around strategic initiatives
-
Identify workflows where AI tools and emerging technologies can accelerate delivery and ensure that building becomes the default way you work
B2B UX Design, Research, and Validation
-
Turn complex enterprise workflows into products people can actually use without training
-
Work directly with customers — running pilots, gathering feedback, and iterating based on how they actually use the product, including customers with complex needs or in delicate situations
-
Solve ambiguous product challenges through customer discovery and workflow analysis
-
Make tradeoff decisions across user needs, technical constraints, and business goals and clearly connect those decisions to commercial outcomes
-
Strategically choose when and how to validate solutions, knowing when to validate and when to ship on strong instinct
Technical Fluency and Building
-
Open PRs that ship work to production, build functional prototypes, and use AI-assisted development tools as a primary working medium
-
Build flexible front-end components using AI tools that are reusable and work within the existing codebase
-
Speak the technical language as a peer — comfortable in discussions about platform architecture, AI capabilities, and engineering tradeoffs
-
Architect Scout graphs and reason about graph logic, context retrieval, and AI behavior independently
Competitive & Market Awareness
-
Maintain running awareness of the competitive landscape across multiple verticals
-
Identify gaps and opportunities and produce competitive analysis that connects to design decisions
-
Track market trends, adjacent products, and emerging tools, connecting what's happening in the market to what Sitetracker should be doing

Can demo your area in depth and give a solid cross-product demo
Presentation & Communication
-
Present compellingly to senior stakeholders and bring people along through the process
-
Model the "build in public" culture by sharing work early and often, inviting critique, and showing how work evolves based on input
-
Translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
