Eliot is seeking a dedicated Mental and Behavioral Health Coach to join our team as part of our Early Intervention (EI) program that supports children from birth to three years of age with developmental delays or disabilities in the Everett, Malden, and Medford area. Our multidisciplinary team delivers community-based therapeutic interventions using a coaching model with parents and caregivers.

As a Mental and Behavioral Health Coach, you will collaborate with early education, out-of-school programs, and families to address children's social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. Additionally, you will use observations, assessment tools, and family meetings to guide early interventions and promote healthy development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with childcare programs and families
  • Provide behavior coaching on site at childcare programs/family child care homes for young children with challenging behaviors
  • Provide support and modeling regarding behavior management strategies
  • Provide support, training, and resources regarding classroom management techniques
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual behavior support plans

Qualifications:

  • Requires an Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field
  • Experience working with young children with challenging behaviors and/or mental health issues
  • Valid Massachusetts Driver's License

Location: Offices in Lawrence and Malden with ability to use either one.  Community outreach position that requires travel in the Northeast region of Massachusetts. 

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm

Hourly Rate
$22.59$22.59 USD
