Position: Mortgage Broker Assistant

Salary: PHP 57,800 - PHP 73,200/month

Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays, 9:00AM - 5:00PM PH Time

Holidays: Australian Holidays

OVERVIEW:

The company is seeking for an experienced Mortgage Broker Assistant who provides comprehensive administrative and client support to mortgage brokers, ensuring smooth processing of loan applications from submission through settlement. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced financial services environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Loan Processing & Documentation

  • Verify and review client income documentation, credit reports, and supporting information.
  • Order and track property valuations, pricing, and other lender-related requirements.
  • Complete servicing calculators and prepare product comparisons.
  • Structure funding positions and assess client living expenses.
  • Prepare detailed broker notes and maintain accurate loan files.
  • Calculate borrowing capacity and assist in preparing compliance documents.
  • Respond to lender requests, including minor MIRS (Mortgage Information Requests).
  • Manage files through all stages — from pre-assessment to settlement.

Client & Lender Communication

  • Liaise with clients to collect missing documents or clarify information.
  • Communicate with lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely progress.
  • Provide updates to brokers and clients on application status.
  • Maintain professional and proactive client communication throughout the process.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Track loan progress, delivery dates, and application follow-ups.
  • Manage email and phone correspondence for the broker.
  • Update CRM systems, client records, and internal trackers.
  • Support sales representatives with administrative tasks as required.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and pipeline updates for management.
  • Bonus ad hoc task: can manage social media for the business

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 2 years’ experience in mortgage processing, lending, or financial services.
  • Experience with Australian lenders and mortgage products (required).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with broker systems and loan platforms (Mercury, ApplyOnline)
  • Strong understanding of loan structures, banking, and finance principles.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
  • Exceptional communicator: articulate, polished, and personable in both written and verbal interactions

  • Highly organized, results-focused, and capable of managing multiple loan files simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a proactive approach and has good processing habits to resolve issues.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Team player with a positive, professional attitude.

PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have):

  • Exposure to SMSF loans or complex loan structures and self employed financials is advantageous
  • Previous remote or offshore experience with Australian brokers preferred.
