About the role
We're not telehealth and we're not a traditional doctor's office: we're the best parts of both. Our mission at Rezilient is simple: to make access to primary care convenient, timely and seamless.
In our hybrid model, clinics are staffed by paramedics with the provider joining the appointment virtually on-screen. The provider relies on the medic as their partner for a thorough physical assessment, with the aid of connected devices that live stream ENT, skin, and cardio respiratory exams. Not only does this allow the provider to see and hear high quality exams, but it allows the patient to participate in the experience themself through hearing their own heartbeat or seeing their own eardrum.
Our model is breaking through the old way of medicine and bringing transparency and high quality care through the use of technology. We are looking for team members that are ready to expand and break new grounds in the world of primary care.
About the Role
The Director or Senior Manager of Clinical Education & Development is responsible for building, coordinating, readiness, and continuously improving the learning and development ecosystem across all four functions of Rezilient Health's clinical operations: Medics, Care Navigators, Care Managers, and Providers.
This is an individual contributor role at inception, designed to serve as the Clinical L&D center of excellence for Clinical Operations. Based at Rezilient Health HQ in St. Louis, this role partners closely with the Head of Clinical Operations, Operations Managers, clinical team leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and deploy evidence-based, operationally-aligned training that supports workforce readiness, clinical competency, and a culture of continuous learning across all clinical functions. The right candidate is a builder, equally comfortable developing a curriculum framework and facilitating live training sessions for all clinical functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Strategy & Program Architecture
- Design and own the L&D strategy for all four clinical operations functions: Medics, Care Navigators, Care Managers, and Providers
- Refine the structured learning framework spanning onboarding, role-specific competency development, continuing education, and leadership readiness pathways for clinical staff
- Partner with the Head of Clinical Operations and operational leaders to align all learning initiatives with organizational goals, operational priorities, and quality outcomes
- Establish and maintain a multi-modal learning approach with live, virtual/synchronous, and asynchronous appropriate to Rezilient's distributed, hybrid care model
- Lead training plan coordination across all clinical functions, ensuring program sequencing, scheduling, and deployment are operationally feasible and clinically sound
Content Development & Curation
- Work with all clinical functions to develop, curate, and maintain training content including onboarding curricula, clinical skill modules, workflow training, competency assessments, and reference materials
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations Leaders, Providers, Medics, Care Navigators, Care Managers, and clinical subject matter experts to translate clinical knowledge and workflow expectations into learner-centered educational materials
- Apply adult learning principles and established instructional design frameworks (ADDIE/SAM) to all content development
- Maintain a well-organized, accessible content library across all clinical roles
- Ensure all educational content remains current, evidence-based, and aligned with Rezilient's care model, regulatory requirements, and operational standards
Learning Management & Delivery
- Implement, manage, and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) for tracking course assignments, completion rates, competency records, and learner analytics across all clinical populations
- Facilitate live and virtual training sessions for onboarding, in-service education, workflow updates, and skills reinforcement
- Coordinate training schedules in partnership with Clinical Operations Managers and training team leads to support deployment without disrupting clinical operations
- Support onboarding programs for all new clinical hires across roles, ensuring learners achieve defined competency milestones before independent practice
Performance Support & Continuous Improvement
- Establish learning KPIs and evaluation frameworks to measure training effectiveness, competency attainment, and impact on clinical quality and operational performance
- Identify learning gaps through data, observation, performance management trends, and feedback from leaders and learners
- Develop and implement targeted remediation training plans in collaboration with people managers and clinical leaders when performance gaps are identified
- Continuously refine training content, delivery methods, and learner engagement strategies based on evaluation data
- Contribute to and inform quality improvement initiatives across clinical operations through L&D insights
Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership
- Serve as the primary L&D resource and subject matter expert for all of Clinical Operations acting as the trusted partner to Medic leads, Care Navigation leadership, Care Management leadership, and the Provider group
- Partner with HR, Compliance, and Quality to ensure training programs meet regulatory, accreditation, and workforce compliance requirements
- Communicate training updates, program launches, and learning expectations through organized, consistent internal channels
- Promote a positive, psychologically safe learning environment that encourages growth, curiosity, and participation across all clinical roles
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MSN, MHA, CNE, MBA) strongly preferred
- 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, clinical education, and instructional design within a healthcare setting
- Proficiency with content authoring tools (Articulate 360/Rise, Camtasia, Scribe, or other AI tools)
- Demonstrated experience building and managing training programs across multiple clinical roles or workforce populations
- Proficient innovator with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong instructional design skills with working knowledge of adult learning principles and established frameworks (ADDIE, SAM)
- Strong data literacy — ability to build and interpret training metrics, identify trends, and use insights to drive program improvement
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple programs, timelines, and stakeholder needs simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to clinical and operational leadership
- A confident, curious, and agile learner who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership without a fully built playbook
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented working style with the ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed clinical organization
License/Certifications
- Active clinical licensure
- CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development)
