White River Toyota is seeking a Parts Counter Specialist to join our fast-paced Toyota Parts Department! If you enjoy helping people, have an interest in automotive parts and accessories, and take pride in providing exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you. In this role, you'll assist customers and technicians both in person and over the phone, using your product knowledge and attention to detail to ensure every inquiry is handled accurately and efficiently. The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.

Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of experience in foreign auto parts preferred.
Reliable, hardworking individual with strong customer service and basic sales skills.
Physical ability to lift parts, up to 70 pounds on a daily basis.
Must be able to stretch and reach parts on shelves up to 7 feet high; bend and reach parts on the ground, shelving, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Ascertain make, year, and type of part needed.
Determine price and availability using computerized inventory records.
Inspect part for damage or defect before sales.
Clarify use and feature of various parts when necessary.
Fill technician or customer order from stock inventory, or submit special order.
Mark and store parts in an orderly fashion and according to the procedure.
Order and stock basic parts, supplies, and equipment for dealership departments.
Verify invoice records against parts order and parts.
Handle warranty parts replacements: return the defective part to the manufacturer according to procedures; prepare associated documentation and provide receipts to technicians.
Sell or purchase parts to and from other dealerships.
Interface with various salespeople for supply distributors and parts stores.
Perform related duties as assigned.
