You will join our Global Human Resources team as the HR Business Partner (HRBP) collaborating closely with our Spanish management and global function leads. Your mission is to champion the employee journey and provide strategic support tailored to the specific needs of Malt Spain, a close-knit and highly impactful team of around 50 people today.Β
By balancing high-level organizational planning with daily operational excellence, you will ensure our team stays engaged, agile, and aligned as we transform and grow the business. You will also make sure we have the absolute best work environment by supporting local talent acquisition and taking ownership of office management and workplace culture for our hubs in Madrid and Barcelona.
Key responsibilities β¨
-Shape the future of our teams by advising local and global management on organizational design, talent cultivation, performance management, and key business goals.Β Β
-Elevate and drive core HR cycles, including performance calibrations, compensation reviews, internal mobility, and insightful exit interviews.Β Β
-Analyze employee metrics like attrition, job levels, and compensation to deliver proactive strategic decisions and manage the local people cost envelope.Β Β
-Collaborate with our HR Centers of Excellence (C&B, TA, People Ops) to deliver seamless support and maintain dynamic internal communications.Β Β
-Take ownership of local office management, teaming up with our International Workplace Manager to create a vibrant culture through local events and All-Hands.Β
About you π§βπ
-You hold a degree in HR, Business, or a related field, backed by 4+ years of HR experience (with at least 2 years thriving in an HRBP role). Experience in an international environment is key.Β
-You possess a strong business mindset, with proven experience in both project and budget management. You aren't just doing HR; you understand how the business is run.Β
-You are curious, energetic, and have a strong professional standing. You are a practical, solution-oriented thinker who excels at guiding teams through organizational change and transformation.Β
-You are comfortable using data to back up your decisions. Your interpersonal skills are top-notchβyou can manage conflicts and build relationships across all levels effortlessly.Β
-You communicate seamlessly in native-level Spanish and business-professional English.
