The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of general ledger activities across local and international Lucanet entities, playing a key role in ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of our business. You will be at the forefront of critical financial decision-making, utilising your expertise to track, collect, and manage financial data with precision and insight.   

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end accounting tasks for local and international Lucanet entities independently 
• Record all business transactions accurately, including payment processing and reminders  
• Post and verify incoming invoices across creditor, debtor, and asset accounting  
• Perform intercompany reconciliations  
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in line with local statutory requirements  
• Handle VAT and other statutory returns as required 
• Support internal teams, including tax and external audit, and contribute to accounting projects  

What you bring to the table

• University degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, or a comparable qualification 
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or controlling  
• Proven end-to-end bookkeeping ownership experience  
• Experience with Business Central / Navision or a similar ERP system  
• Strong attention to detail and analytical reasoning skills  
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
