About the role
- Design and develop small craft vessels with a focus on composite materials and integrated systems
- Create and supervise 3D and 2D technical drawings and documentation compliant with Classification Societies and project specifications
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance
- Analyze structural performance and conduct stability and strength assessments using FEM and other relevant methods
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and coordination with suppliers and subcontractors
- Support the development and optimization of composite construction techniques and materials usage
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in design of small craft vessels, preferably with composite materials
- Strong knowledge of composite materials, their properties, and application in marine vessels
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and FEM analysis tools
- Experience with Classification Societies’ rules and maritime standards
- Ability to create and review technical documentation for production and classification
- Good communication skills and fluency in English
