About the role:

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sleep Physiologist to join our team in St Helens. This role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, offering flexibility to suit your needs. As a Band 6/7 Sleep Physiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders, working closely with patients to improve their sleep health.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will conduct sleep studies and assessments. You will analyse sleep data and provide accurate reports. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans. You will educate patients on sleep hygiene and treatment options. You will maintain up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
    • Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS).
    • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Sleep Physiologist.
    • Experience as a sleep physiologist.
  • Desirable:
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
