About the Role:
 
The Junior Executive - Branch Operations (Forex Cash Delivery) is responsible for managing branch-level operational activities with a primary focus on foreign currency cash delivery, cash handling, transaction processing, customer coordination, and regulatory compliance. The role ensures accurate and sure execution of forex cash delivery requests while maintaining operational efficiency, service quality, and adherence to internal policies and applicable forex regulations.
 
The position requires strong attention to detail, cash management discipline, customer service orientation, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute foreign currency cash delivery operations for retail and corporate customers, ensuring accurate, timely, and secure delivery of forex orders
  • Verify customer requirements, currency types, denominations, order details, delivery instructions, and supporting documentation prior to dispatch
  • Coordinate with branch teams, cash vault operations, logistics partners, sales teams, and customer support teams to ensure smooth execution of cash delivery requests
  • Ensure proper handover of foreign currency against valid customer identification, completed documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Perform physical verification, counting, and reconciliation of foreign and local currency cash while maintaining accuracy and accountability
  • Ensure adherence to cash custody procedures, branch security controls, and internal cash management policies
  • Monitor cash delivery requests, including pending, completed and failed transactions, and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of cash movements, delivery register, transaction details, and operational documentation for audit and reporting purposes
  • Handle customer queries related forex cash deliveries, transaction status, documentation requirements, and service processes while providing professional support
  • Ensure all transactions comply while applicable forex regulations, KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and internal compliance guidelines
  • Verify customer documents and transaction details before processing deliveries and maintain records as per regulatory and company requirements
  • Assist with daily branch operations, including transaction processing, operational reporting, documentation, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to cash deliveries, reconciliation, pending requests, and branch operational performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Commerce, Finance, Banking, or related fields preferred)
  • Additional certification or experience in banking, forex, or financial services will be an advantage
  • Integrity and accountability in handling cash and customer transaction
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility 
  • Customer-focused approach with professional communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • 0-2 years of experience in branch operations, banking operations, cash handling, customer service, or forex services preferred
  • Fresh graduates with strong numerical ability and customer handling skills may be considered
