We are seeking an experienced Operation Manager for our client's in Malaysia. This role will be instrumental in overseeing their operational activities ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local regulations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing resources, budgets, and personnel, while fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily marine operations in Malaysia, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery.
• Oversee the planning and execution of marine projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international maritime regulations and best practices.
• Lead and develop a team of operational staff to maximize performance and engagement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Implement best operational practices to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding operational performance and issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine operations or management roles.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and standards specific to Malaysia.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions quickly.
• Fluency in English and Malay; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
