What is a Contextual Marketing Specialist?
We are seeking a Contextual Marketing Specialist to support the execution and optimization of contextual marketing
and Customer Value Management (CVM) initiatives across digital and legacy channels.
This is an entry-level role focused on campaign execution, audience management, performance tracking, and Martech
operations. The individual will work closely with senior team members to deliver personalized, data-driven customer
engagement programs and gain exposure to modern CVM practices, contextual marketing capabilities, and lifecycle
management frameworks.
The role reports to the Stream Head and collaborates with Digital, Product, Engineering, Data, and Commercial teams
to support customer growth, engagement, and retention initiatives.
What a does Contextual Marketing Specialist do?
Campaign Execution & Lifecycle Marketing
· Support the execution of contextual marketing and CVM campaigns across digital and legacy channels.
· Assist in implementing customer lifecycle initiatives across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization journeys.
· Execute campaign activities including audience selection, journey setup, scheduling, and deployment.
· Monitor campaign performance and ensure timely delivery of planned activities.
Martech Operations & Platform Support
· Utilize CMS, CRM, and Martech platforms to execute and manage campaigns.
· Support the maintenance and optimization of campaign assets, audiences, and workflows.
· Coordinate with engineering and platform teams to resolve operational issues and support campaign deployments.
· Assist in testing new platform capabilities and marketing use cases.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
· Prepare campaign performance reports and dashboards.
· Support post-campaign analysis to identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities.
· Track key campaign metrics and maintain performance documentation.
· Assist in A/B testing and experimentation initiatives.
Data & Audience Management
· Support audience creation, segmentation, and targeting activities.
· Work with data teams to validate campaign data and ensure execution accuracy.
· Assist in maintaining audience definitions and campaign documentation.
Collaboration & Governance
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support campaign execution requirements.
· Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and operational processes.
· Maintain accurate records of campaign activities and outcomes.
Requirements
Requirements: What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Contextual Marketing Specialist?
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
· 0–2 years of experience in marketing, CRM/CVM, digital campaigns, analytics, or a related field.
· Internship or project experience in digital marketing, customer engagement, or data analytics will be an advantage.
· Basic understanding of digital marketing and customer lifecycle concepts.
· Familiarity with CMS, CRM, or Martech platforms is preferred.
· Working knowledge of Excel and SQL is a plus.
· Understanding of customer segmentation, campaign execution, and reporting concepts is desirable.
· Strong learning agility and willingness to develop new skills.
