Companies Pilgrim Enablement Partner

About the role

Pilgrim · Onsite

As an Enablement Partner at Pilgrim, you will be both strategist and operator, ensuring our solutions reach warfighters with speed and precision.  This role demands intense research, rapid adaptability, and an oracular ability to decode defense ecosystems—profiling key decision-makers, mapping bureaucratic terrain, and identifying pathways for technology adoption. You must be a skilled multitasker, seamlessly shifting between deep analytical work and high-stakes engagements, knowing when to command attention and when to observe with strategic restraint. You must be as skilled in writing persuasive white papers and strategy memos as you are in navigating Pentagon hallways, briefing senior defense officials, and designing high-impact visual materials. This is a role for a voracious reader, relentless researcher, and disciplined operator—someone who can assess complex environments, extract key insights, and turn intelligence into decisive action.

Responsibilities

  • Unravel federal ecosystems with precision - Map the defense, intelligence and public health landscape—profiling key stakeholders, decoding decision-making dynamics, and charting the most effective pathways to deploy Pilgrim’s technology into warfighters’ hands.

  • Cut through the noise with sharp narratives - Craft proposals, white papers, and strategic briefs that demand attention. Leverage Figma or similar tools to create high-impact visuals that drive adoption of Pilgrim’s platforms.

  • Identify, track, and secure strategic wins - Lead business development—spotting high-value opportunities and driving them from first contact to signed contracts.

  • Turn complexity into actionable intelligence - Distill technical, policy, and operational challenges into clear, strategic insights that sharpen Pilgrim’s mission in defense and national security.

  • Balance deep research with high-impact engagement - Bridge analysis with execution—conduct rigorous research while delivering insights in high-profile settings, influencing decision-makers with clarity and poise.

  • Deploy into the theater - Travel up to ~60% of the time to military installations, forward-deployed units, and policy engagements, securing relationships that directly impact strategy.

  • Navigate classified environments - Collaborating with government agencies on sensitive, green door programs.

Qualifications

  • Operational experience in combat casualty care, tactical medicine, or CBRN response—familiarity with battlefield triage, prolonged field care, or force protection in contested environments.

  • Proven experience in defense business development, acquisition strategy, or government contracting—skilled in navigating DoD/IC landscapes, identifying key stakeholders, and securing funding for emerging technologies.

  • Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills—capable of distilling complexity into clear, persuasive narratives.

  • Strong interpersonal intelligence—able to engage decision-makers, adapt to different audiences, and operate in high-stakes environments.

  • Highly autonomous and solutions-driven—able to assess ambiguity, build strategy, and execute decisively under pressure.

  • You are a U.S. Citizen.
