Director of Physical Therapy

Position Summary

We are seeking a Director of Physical Therapy for a full-time outpatient role in Woodstock, VA. The position offers $90,000-$120,000 per year and a consistent Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule.

The Director of Physical Therapy will oversee clinical services, support staff, and help maintain strong care standards across the clinic. This role is ideal for a PT who enjoys combining hands-on treatment with practical leadership.

Essential Duties

• Oversee therapy services in an outpatient clinic setting
• Complete patient evaluations, reassessments, and treatment planning
• Treat patients with orthopedic, post-operative, neurological, and functional mobility needs
• Supervise clinical team members and assist with staff development
• Review care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Ensure documentation meets compliance and payer expectations
• Help improve patient flow, communication, and clinic processes
• Support a positive care experience from evaluation through discharge

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy required
• Prior director, manager, or lead therapist experience preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient care standards
• Ability to lead teams with professionalism and clear communication
