Job Summary

We are hiring a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to provide remote mental health counseling services to clients across Maryland. In this role, you will meet with clients through a secure telehealth platform, assess their needs, create treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy that supports emotional stability, coping skills, behavioral change, and overall mental wellness.

This position is ideal for a Maryland-licensed counselor who enjoys meaningful clinical work, values consistent client care, and is comfortable providing therapy in a virtual setting. You will work with clients managing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, grief, life transitions, and other behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform
• Complete clinical assessments and gather relevant client history
• Develop treatment plans based on each client’s symptoms, goals, and progress
• Use appropriate counseling methods such as CBT, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, or other evidence-based approaches
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Monitor client safety, risk factors, and changes in mental health status
• Collaborate with internal clinical staff when additional support or care coordination is needed
• Follow Maryland telehealth guidelines, HIPAA standards, and ethical counseling practices
• Support clients in building coping skills, emotional awareness, and healthier daily patterns

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
• Active Maryland LCPC license in good standing
• Previous experience providing therapy to adults, families, couples, or diverse client populations
• Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
• Strong documentation, assessment, and treatment planning skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA, clinical ethics, and state counseling regulations
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
