Physical Therapist | Outpatient Orthopedic Practice Opportunity
Position Introduction
A full-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available in Lone Jack, MO for a clinician who wants to work in outpatient orthopedics and musculoskeletal care.
In this role, you will guide patients through evaluations, treatment plans, therapy sessions, home exercise education, progress tracking, and discharge planning. Patients range from 11 to 90 years old, bringing variety to the workday and allowing you to support different recovery needs, movement goals, and functional outcomes.
The clinic is modern, team-based, and uses WebPT for documentation.

Position Type: Full-Time
Clinic Setting: Modern Outpatient Orthopedic
Daily Patient Volume: 7–15 patients
Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 visits
Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 PTAs
Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Salary
- $65,000–$70,000 annually for new graduate Physical Therapists
- $80,000–$90,000 annually for experienced Physical Therapists, based on years of experience
Schedule Preferences
Preferred Schedule: Four 10-Hour Days
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off weekly
Alternative Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Responsibilities
- Complete evaluations for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Assess movement, mobility, strength, balance, pain, range of motion, and functional limitations
- Build individualized treatment plans based on patient presentation and goals
- Provide skilled therapy, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance work, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, activity modifications, and safe movement patterns
- Monitor treatment response and make plan updates as needed
- Document evaluations, visits, progress notes, and discharge plans in WebPT
- Work closely with PTAs and clinical team members to maintain coordinated care
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Missouri licensure
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work professionally with patients across a broad age range
