Job Bridge Global is looking for a dedicated Mechanical Fitter to join our client's team. The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and mechanical systems. Your technical skills and experience will be essential in ensuring that our client's equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain mechanical systems and components in accordance with engineering specifications and requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections to assess equipment conditions and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to execute projects and resolve any mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship in mechanical fitting or a related field.
• Proven experience in a mechanical fitting or maintenance role, preferably within an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in mechanical fitting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet operational demands.
• Ability to pass necessary health and safety assessments.
