About the Role

We are seeking a US-licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Agent to support U.S.-based insurance agencies with day-to-day policy servicing, quoting, and sales support.

This is a client-facing role where you will communicate directly with policyholders, prospects, insurance carriers, and agency partners. You will assist with policy changes, prepare insurance quotes, answer coverage questions, and support agencies with their daily licensed insurance operations.

We are specifically looking for candidates who hold an active U.S. resident Property & Casualty (P&C) license and are currently living outside of the United States. If additional state licenses are required, the client will assist with obtaining them.

Responsibilities

Policy Servicing

  • Assist clients with policy updates, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and general servicing requests.
  • Respond to policyholder inquiries professionally and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and policy activities.
  • Ensure all servicing activities comply with agency procedures and insurance regulations.

Quoting & Sales Support

  • Prepare and present insurance quotes for new and existing customers.
  • Assist clients in understanding available coverage options.
  • Support agency sales efforts by responding to inquiries and identifying appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Follow up with prospects and existing clients regarding quotes and policy renewals.

Client & Carrier Communication

  • Handle inbound and outbound phone calls with policyholders, prospects, and insurance carriers.
  • Coordinate with carrier representatives regarding underwriting requirements, policy changes, and coverage questions.
  • Build positive relationships with clients while delivering exceptional customer service.

Agency Operations

  • Maintain accurate records within the agency management system.
  • Support daily administrative and operational insurance tasks.
  • Ensure timely processing of policy documentation and client requests.
  • Collaborate with internal agency teams to provide seamless customer support.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • You already hold an active U.S. Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • You enjoy helping customers understand their insurance coverage.
  • You communicate confidently with clients over the phone.
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple client requests.
  • You thrive in a remote environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You understand the importance of compliance, accuracy, and excellent customer service.

Required Experience & Skills

Must-Have

  • Active U.S. Resident Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License (any U.S. state).
  • Non-resident licenses are acceptable only if you also hold an active resident P&C license.
  • Minimum 1 year of Property & Casualty insurance experience (agency or carrier-side experience is acceptable).
  • Experience working with Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, or both.
  • Comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls with policyholders, prospects, and insurance carriers.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Must be located outside of the United States.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated home office equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work during U.S. business hours.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance.
  • Familiarity with major U.S. insurance carriers.
  • Experience with personal or commercial lines coding.
  • Experience using agency management systems such as Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft, or similar platforms.
  • Previous experience working remotely for a U.S.-based insurance agency.
  • Experience supporting multiple insurance producers or agency teams.
